Mommy Blogs

I don’t want to offend the mothers out there. I really don’t. But I am having trouble finishing my lunch because of all these mommy blogs. It’s really getting sickening.

I sincerely hope that when I do (God willing) have children, that I am able to sustain some form of my original personality. I don’t want to become one of those parents that is nothing but a parent now…their entire personality, their entire being, is being a parent. I want to love my kids and raise them right but I sincerely hope I can find something else to talk about. I’m sure I will be proud of the little mulattos when I have them and want to talk about them….but I hope I will know when enough is enough….

  2. Being a mother, I think I would probably want to yack up my lunch reading some of them. Don’t get me wrong, I love my children with all my heart and anyone that knows me knows how I feel about them, but I still have “me.” I get criticized at my kids’ school because I am a working mother with her own identity and don’t lose myself in my children. In my opinion, if you lose yourself and your own identity, you are not the best mother you can be for your children. They need to know that being yourself is the most important thing, not how good a friend you can be for your kid.

  6. Come read my mommy blog. You’re in for a treat.

  7. Your blog was supposed to be a treat for me??? You sound miserable. You really need to find a hobby because you have totally lost your own identity. And the Bush comments show how sheltered you truly are. You obviously are a stay at home mom whose husband brings in the bacon, you are blinded by the trillion dollar deficit and you don’t know a single soul who has lost their life in the war. I hope the Lord shows you the light sooner rather than later.
