Interesting

A coworker informed me today that the Spanish word for wife is the same as the spanish word for handcuffs: esposa (wife) and esposas (handcuffs)….Coincidence???

  1. Naw, you’re probably just having a Freud moment.

On a similar note, The Girlchild asked me the other day what “hot” was in Spanish. I told her it was “caliente”. The next day, she was evidently describing some guy in her Spanish class as “caliente”, because she said “You told me caliente was hot!” I said, “It IS hot.” Then she tells me that her Spanish teacher pointed out to her that if you say a guy is “caliente”, it means he’s horny.

I laughed at her. Really hard.
