Tape shows 5 Taser shocks in 1 minute | ajc.com

Surprisingly, no charges against any of the eleven officers involved with this. A couple of points to mention, 11 officers couldn’t subdue one handcuffed and bound by his feet man?!?!! 5 taser shocks in a minute? What happened to the good old days where they just beat you up a little bit. Now I’m not big on epileptic knowledge but if certain images on a TV screen can cause a seizure, I’m sure bolts of electricity to your chest has to be on the do not do list. And the officers knew that he was epileptic from the initial call.

And then po po wonders why they don’t get respect. There is no reason eleven trained officers should have any problem ‘immobilizing’ one man. None what so ever.

Initially, I was torn about creating a blog dedicated to something I despise. I felt that if I created this outlet for my dislike, I was somehow giving it credit. Kinda like calling someone just to let them know how much you dislike them. Because though your intent is to disclose your dislike, at the same time it shows them that you were thinking of them and cared enough to contact them. That’s why I have never called this piece of shit radio station.

They have this morning show with Bert, Melissa, Jen, and Jeff. I used to be able to deal with Jeff but even he annoys me as much as the others do. They are a talentless bunch that feeds off soap opera antics to gain listeners. Unfortunately, it works but it is still depressing. It’s sad to see folks flourish off the lives of others without contributing so much as a hint of anything worthwhile.

My wife loves the station. The worse thing for me is to wake up in the morning and have the second voice I hear be any of these four. Since we carpool, I know I’ll have at least 45 minutes of despair listening to them. So to hear them the first 15 minutes of my day intensifies the suckage that is morning.

Anyway, with this blog I intend to chronicle the utter stupidity of this show. The ultimate goal is that this blog will cease to exist due to the end of the Bert Show. But since that is unlikely, I can at least hope to get rid of some of the anger that often starts my day.

And another point….why the hell don’t you see condom commercials on tv but every form of feminine hygiene products can be advertised.

Apr 27 2005

Feminists, stop now! Read no further. And if you do, don’t feel the need to comment because I won’t feel the need to reply.

This post is strictly for the men that don’t watch any program on WB. This post is for the men that are tired of seeing men made a fool of in every commercial, sitcom, movie, and other form of ‘entertainment’. This post is for men that don’t want to see a playtex commercial during the fucking Super Bowl. This post is for men.

Men, do we remember what it felt like to be a man? Where are the Al Bundy’s of the world nowadays? Why can’t I scratch my nuts when I feel necessary? Women are allowed to breast feed whenever the drip drip is necessary so why can’t I take care of the itch itch?

Manhood is defined by a lot of things. But for the past ten years, men have allowed women to define what manhood is and there’s something seriously askew with that. After all, though many women have tried none have been a man. Does anyone find it odd that you can hear the statement “You need to be a real man and blah blah blah” about umpteen times watching daytime TV but never do you hear the opposite? Why is that? Why doesn’t Maury, Jerry, or Dr. Phil ever have a show that highlights men that have taken care of their children, provided the necessities (and unnnecessities) to their spouse, have not cheated, and most importantly have changed the man they were in order to satisfy the needs of their family?

The world has flipped over the past decade or so. No longer does James Brown’s song title ‘It’s a Man’s world’ explain current soceity. Oh, channels like Lifetime would have you believe that men everywhere are treating women like an inferior gender but seriously is that the case? I’ve seen more men walked on by women in my life than vice versa. Easily.

I’ve mentioned this before but I read an article a while back that mentioned the breakdown of missing persons is about 50/50. Oddly enough, if a man disappears there is rarely a ‘national story’ and may make the local news for a day or so. If a woman disappears we know every detail for two weeks. At least.

Even in more trivial things such as shopping. The argument is that women do more shopping. Well, hell, if men had a larger selection, more choices, maybe men would shop more. You see what the hell men do at a Best Buy or Home Depot?!?!

It’s gotten to the point where I can’t even listen to most local morning shows because of their undeniable lean to the female audience. Let’s take for example the bert show on q100 here in Atlanta. This might as well be the Lifetime radio network. Note there are four hosts, two of which (and I use the term very loosely) are men, two of which are women. Sounds good right? Nope, Bert might as well be a penis-equipped woman. He’s the saddest form of married man lifeform that I have ever witnessed. He’s not effeminate in his speeck so to speak, but he is so ridiculously and disgustingly effeminate in his words. It’s hard to believe that this man pees standing up most of the time. It’s to the point where I may start a hate blog for this man’s morning show. By the way, I only hear it because the wife and I carpool and naturally she loves the show.

Back to the main point. What I don’t understand is why men are expected to change all the time? Why are men always at fault? Why are men portrayed so ridiculously negative in the media a majority of the time, whether it be portrayed as ignorant, or violent, or chauvinistic, or dishonest, or ‘as a pig’? Why are so many men sitting down for this????

I apologize that this rant has bounced all over the place but I hope the general point is made.

Monarchies are stupid. It’s a pretty stupid way to determine who is in power and who has fame. Basing it on who you are parents are??? I know achievement often occurs that way in the US but at least we try to pretend that hard work and dedication can put you in the same exact spot….
