Wake up Call

When staying in lovely Winston Salem, North Carolina, I tend to sleep with the TV on. It’s something that just runs in my family. Anyway, it seems that no matter what channel I fall asleep to, when I wake up and get out of the shower, the Bible Revival Hour is on. Now this is a low budget evangelical outfit out of nearby Kernersville, NC. Despite the Bible Revival Hour only being a half hour long, there are often some of the funniest statements made. Today’s quote as the self proclaimed Prophet somebody somebody was healing an audience member: ‘Can you feel it, God is in your pelvic area?’

One more reason why I don’t watch religious programs. I don’t think God would be in my pelvic region, maybe Jesus though…
