Unnecessary punctuation in proper names. 34a Multiple capital letters in a proper name (last name is ok…I guess).
Both of these attempts at differentiation or uniqueness are annoying. There is never a need for a dash or apostrophe in a name. Is your name a contraction? Perhaps a compound word? No….then how about you drop the unnecessaries…plus those names are more difficult to type as they are not intuitive in any way. La’Shawnda? Really? I am a decent typist and despise having to slow down because a name has extras…..ok this post is running out of st’Eam.
